What is Rapid Transformational Therapy?

RTT embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect for clients.


RTT can be life-changing for those looking for an alternative to the more traditional therapies. RTT is different from other treatments because it specializes in understanding and fixing the root cause, rather than just addressing the symptoms of a client's issue. The RTT method was created by author and internationally award-winning therapist, Marisa Peer.


With over thirty years of therapy practice, Marisa has been influenced by lots of methodologies including hypnosis, CBT, psychotherapy, psychology, healing, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). However, rather than a summation of these methodologies, RTT is one-of-a-kind and its foundation is to provide clients freedom from problems very quickly.


A particular set of techniques are applied in a particular way, depending on a client's main challenge. The process uncovers the meaning and interpretation of events and RTT purposefully helps clients deal with any ‘unfinished business, meaning it is a technique for addressing the pain/distress that may have been felt for years. Katy, an RTT Practitioner, works with you to help you break through to the subconscious mind using hypnosis, then Katy gives you the tools to not only communicate with the subconscious mind but help you clear any negative self-talk and negative emotions.


This process helps fix whatever blocks there are and then reprograms the mind for success.

What to Expect on your first session?

An RTT package begins with a client completing an intake form, then a 20-minute consultation call via Zoom or telephone to discuss the specifics around the presenting concern.


At least 24 hours later, the main RTT session takes place and lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours. The process starts with an induction into a relaxed hypnotic state (similar to a guided meditation) to access your subconscious mind. This process involves rolling your eyes up to your eyebrows, much like what happens before we fall asleep.


This triggers your body to relax and enter into a theta brainwave state (a very slow state associated with your subconscious). Then you regressed back to specific memories targeting your particular issue. Here Katy will explore with you the setting, who’s with you, what’s happening and any feelings associated with the memory. From a place of review, you will understand the meaning applied to certain events and how they have significantly impacted you.


You are then expertly guided through inner healing work to heal these memories and what they represent. This can include letting go of negative emotions contributing to your issue, healing your inner child, reframing limiting beliefs, and reprogramming your subconscious mind to recognize that these events happened in the past to lessen their emotional impact on the present version of you and positive messaging is then reinforced.


Coming back to your fully awareness involves a short countdown and you will awaken feeling a little groggy but also refreshed as you’ve processed a lot of inner baggage. After your session, its recommended to hydrate, and to just take it easy for the rest of the day to help process what came up in the session.


You are given a 20-minute positive reinforcement audio after your session to listen to for 21 days to rewire in empowering and positive beliefs and for ongoing support, 24 hour and weekly check-ins via email or messenger are provided for a 30-day period post the session.


Katy is a certified RTT practitioner and offers RTT sessions at a clinic in Chilliwack, BC Canada or on-line via Zoom, meaning you can be located anywhere the world to experience the life-changing benefits of RTT. Clients experience the same results from an on-line RTT session as they do in person, both are equally effective.
